What We Do

More than photos — an experience your guests actually queue for

A booth is the one vendor at your event that guests choose to interact with. Done well, it becomes the corner of the room everyone keeps drifting back to.

Most photo booth rentals fail for boring reasons. The lighting is flat, so every photo looks like a phone snapshot. The line stalls because nobody is running the booth. The prints come out muddy and the digital copies never arrive. Guests try it once and move on.

We build the experience around the opposite outcome. Every booth runs on professional event-grade cameras and studio lighting, so faces are lit properly and photos hold up on a phone screen and in print. A trained attendant stays with the booth the entire time, posing groups, handing out props and keeping the queue moving.

Guests get their photos while the event is still happening. A QR code at the booth drops the photo, GIF, boomerang or 360° clip straight onto their phone — which is exactly when people are most likely to share it.

Behind that, everything is customizable: print templates and overlays carrying your names and date, backdrops matched to your colors, music synced to 360° and Glambot clips, and a full online gallery delivered after the event.

Working in Chicago

What we've learned running booths across Chicagoland

Chicago runs on two very different kinds of event space, and the booth has to work in both. Downtown you get hotel ballrooms and historic venues with high ceilings, generous power and loading docks — easy conditions where a 360° platform or a Glambot arm has all the clearance it needs. Push west into the Fulton Market and West Loop conversions and it changes: exposed brick, beautiful light, and floor plans with columns in inconvenient places. We ask for room dimensions ahead of time in this market more than most.

Chicagoland's suburban banquet halls are their own category. Rosemont, Schaumburg, Oak Brook and Naperville host a huge share of the region's weddings and quinceañeras, usually in rooms built for 200 to 400 guests. That guest count is exactly where an open air booth earns its keep — the frame is wide enough for a whole table to pile in at once, and the line keeps moving because nobody is waiting for four people to squeeze into an enclosure.

Winter is the logistical variable here. December and January bring corporate holiday parties back to back, and load-in through a snowy alley entrance takes longer than it does in June. We build extra time into the arrival window between November and March so setup is finished before guests are in the room, regardless of what Lake Shore Drive is doing.

Venues we work around Chicago

Loop and River North hotel ballrooms, West Loop and Fulton Market lofts, lakefront venues, museum and historic spaces, suburban banquet halls, country clubs, and corporate offices across the Chicagoland business districts.

When to book

Wedding season runs heavy May through October, and the corporate holiday-party window in December fills earlier here than almost anywhere else we work.

FAQ

Chicago photo booth rental questions, answered

The things clients ask before they book.

How much does a photo booth rental cost in Chicago?

It depends on which booth you choose, how many hours you need and where in Chicagoland your venue is. Open air packages are the most affordable starting point, while 360° video and Glambot experiences sit higher because of the equipment and operator involved. Send us your date and venue through the quote form and you'll get exact numbers back — no phone tag, no pressure.

How far in advance should I book a photo booth in Chicago?

Four to eight weeks is comfortable for most dates. Saturdays between May and October fill first, and the December corporate holiday-party window books out earlier in Chicago than almost anywhere else we work. If your event falls in one of those stretches, reach out as early as you can. Short-notice requests are still worth sending — we frequently have equipment available.

Which Chicago neighborhoods and suburbs do you serve?

All of Chicago and the surrounding Chicagoland area — the Loop, River North, West Loop and Fulton Market, Lincoln Park, Wicker Park, Logan Square, Pilsen, Hyde Park and the South Side, plus Evanston and the North Shore, Rosemont, Schaumburg, Arlington Heights, Oak Brook, Naperville, Aurora, Oak Park, Skokie, Orland Park and Joliet. Send us any venue address and we'll confirm coverage for your date.

How much space does a photo booth need?

An open air booth works in roughly a 10x10 ft footprint with the backdrop. A 360° booth needs about 12x12 ft with overhead clearance so the camera arm can orbit safely. Glambot needs a similar footprint plus room for lighting stands. All three need a standard power outlet within about 25 feet. Chicago's converted lofts vary a lot on ceiling height, so send us the room dimensions and we'll confirm the fit before you book.

Can you set up in a West Loop loft or a historic downtown venue?

Usually yes, but the booth choice depends on the building. An open air setup fits almost any converted loft or historic room. A 360° platform needs both a viable load-in path and overhead clearance for the arm, so for older buildings we confirm doorway widths, stairs, freight elevator access and ceiling height with the venue directly before confirming your booking. We'd rather find a constraint in advance than on the day.

Is an attendant included with the rental?

Yes, on every booking. A trained on-site attendant arrives early to set up, guides guests through the experience, keeps the line moving, handles props and prints, and packs everything out afterward. Setup and teardown happen outside your booked hours, so you get the full time you paid for.

How do guests get their photos and videos?

Instantly. Guests scan a QR code at the booth and their photo, GIF, boomerang or 360° clip lands on their phone in seconds, ready to text or post. You also receive a complete online gallery of every capture from the event afterward.

Can we add our logo or event branding?

Yes. Print templates, on-screen overlays, intro and outro frames and the digital gallery can all carry your names, event date, colors, hashtag or company logo. For corporate work we also offer branded backdrops and optional guest data capture.
